Your UVBrite bottle can be charged by using a USB-C cable. The port is located on the lid, under a waterproof flap. A charging cable is included with every bottle and can be plugged into any USB power plug or the USB port of a computer.
The purification cycle can be activated by pressing the top button once for the Normal mode or twice for Blitz mode.
UVBrite bottles will keep water hot or cold for up to 12-hours.
Normal mode is either a 90-second or 180-second cycle depending on the bottle. Blitz mode runs for either 180-seconds or 300-seconds depending on the bottle.
Normal mode is great for water from known sources such as water fountains, home water, etc. Blitz mode is recommended for water from sources that are not trusted and require extra purification.
Please note that the purification system will only work on clear water. Murky water or water with physical impurities will affect the efficacy of the purification system.
The touch sensor lock is recommended when storing the bottle for an extended period of time. It prevents the automatic self-cleaning cycle from activating every 6-hours and disables the touch sensor.
To activate the touch sensor lock, press and hold the touch sensor for 5-seconds or until the touch sensor flashes red once.
To deactivate the touch sensor lock, press and hold the touch sensor for 5-seconds or until the touch sensor flashes red two times.
Please note that while the touch sensor lock is activated, the automatic self-cleaning mode is disabled.
The UVBrite Explorer bottle has a capacity of 20.3 fl oz (600 ml).
The UVBrite Explorer bottle is constructed from food-grade 304 stainless steel. The lid is constructed from BPA-free, food-grade materials.
The UVBrite Go bottle has a capacity of 18.6 fl oz (550 ml).
The UV-C purification system cleans the bottle and reduces the buildup of microbes with every use. The self-cleaning mode is activated manually each time a cycle is run.

Definitely not! We use UV-C LED technology in all of our products, which is safe, power efficient and can last significantly longer than traditional mercury lamps.
The LEDs that we use in our products have been rated to last at least 10,000 hours. This means that if running a standard 90-second cycle, the LED can last up to 400,000 cycles, or purify 6,250 gallons of water!
You should not have any problems taking your UVBrite bottles on flights. Please ensure that the bottle is empty when going through security.
Some airlines may prevent carrying the UVBrite bottles in your checked luggage because of the Lithium-ion batteries inside.
Yes, you most definitely can. The bottles will eliminate up to 99.99% of microbes from the water, ensuring that it is pure and free from disease-causing germs. However, the system will not remove physical impurities from water.
We recommend only consuming water that is clear to the eyes. This allows the purification system to work at full efficiency, and run a Blitz mode cycle instead of the normal one.
Yes, you can, but we don’t recommend it. The bottle will work perfectly well for storing any liquids in an insulated environment. However, the bottle will have to be cleaned properly before it can be reused with water. This is to ensure that there is no buildup of residue which could impact the efficacy of the purification system.
Because of the self-cleaning functionality of UVBrite bottles, they don’t require frequent cleaning. However, we recommend cleaning the mouth of the bottle regularly with warm soapy water to stop residual buildup.
The lid can also be hand washed with warm, soapy water and air dried.
